nZEB

Imagine a building with minimal energy spending

nZEB are buildings with very low energy consumption, thanks to their low energy demand and the use of highly efficient systems, with the possibility of integrating renewable energy.

Reducing environmental impact

Highly efficient systems

Generation of renewable energy and self-consumption

Energy management systems

The European Commission is striving for a climate-neutral Europe in 2050 and it has set a goal to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases down to 90% for the building sector with respect to 1990.

In the EU alone, buildings are responsible for, approximately,

40% of energy consumption

del 36% de las emisiones de
de CO2

35% of buildings are over 50 years old

Of European housing units are inefficient from an energetic perspective.

The European Union Climate Action Plan sets goals to progressively reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This plan includes the Energy Performance Building Directive (EBPD), which focuses on energy efficiency for buildings.

*The Spanish Technical Code of Edification (CTE) establishes that beginning on 31st of December 2020, all new-build projects need to be near zero energy emission buildings (nZEB).
